Built as a knights residence eight hundred years ago, the Castle of Heidegg, romantically set in a park overlooking Lake Baldegg, now houses a museum with objects from the castle history and the way of life of the Pfyffer von Heidegg family, complete with a multimedia presentation and temporary exhibitions. Kids will love the giant marble labyrinth in the "Attic Dream Castle" as well as the playground and fireplace near the avenue. Refreshments are available at the "Sleeping Beauty" cafe. The castle is famous for its stunning rose garden. Different public rooms and a holiday flat in the mansion offer the perfect setting for that special occasion.
