The Collection is a gift of the photographer und art-friend Robert Spreng from Basel to his hometown Reiden in 1969. It contains 160 artworks (oilpaintings, water colors, collages, designs, drawings, glasspaintings and plastics of 47 artists of the 20th century): among others Amiet, Coghuf, Brignoni, Barlach, Hindenlang, Moilliet, Scherer, Stöcklin. The collection offers you a representative cross-section through the Swiss art work of the first half of the 20th Century.
